What to use instead of CA in conversions?

Posted by atlock on 03 Aug 2008, 11:56

Hello!, first of all....
I am fan of 1/72 figures...still buying lots, but painting some
Converting 1/35 figs works for me but in 1/72 scale I feel horrified...

I cut heads,torsos,arms....use drill/pin tech.then CA glue and some putty if needed, however something seems wrong...takes so much time and a lot of tiny work...

So is there a possibilty of an alternative (putty like) glue to use in plastic figure conversions ?

Welcome to the party Atlock.

Have you tried cursing a lot while you're trying to convert 1/72 figures. Everytime I've successfly swapped heads or arms on one of these figures I've always done a lot a cursing...as I drop the head ten or fifteen times, glue an arm to my fingers, etc.

Of course, when I've failed to manage it there's also been a lot of cursing...so, I don't know.
