Wagons by the thousands went where there were no roads just dirt tracks, or nothing but wilderness.

This early western movie Link above shows prime examples of them. They were left overs from way back in those pioneers days. Sure no need to watch the whole thing but those old pull along`s are sure featured. BB
The Conestoga was not a vehicle used for migration westward, and rarely used by armies on campaign, so it does not have a particularly broad range of uses for modellers, but its distinctive shape makes for an attractive model which has been very well produced.
