I use naphtha in the mold(mould). Practically Zippo lighter fluid is naphtha. For my silcon rubber (Silastic 3481 with curing agent Silastic 81-R NW) I follow this procedure: I put rubber in a cup then 200% per volume Zippo fluid and stir until I have a milky homogeneous fluid. Then I add hardener (5- 10%). In about 2-3 hours I can retract the master. After 2 or even better 3 days the mold is shrinked about 15%. Then I pour resin in it. I had to repeat this procedure once more to have the result of the photo.
I reworked the sleeves and the belly area in the scaled down figure.

Kostis, that is a very interesting system of moulding larger figures in a down sizing style.
I like your results very much indeed. That British Bobby looks real cool.
I have lots of moulding stuff in my stash,but no Lighter Fluid!

Very nice! Grew up reading these stories. Well, they were already old by that time, but I enjoyed reading them a lot! Looking forward to see this finished!
