What a happiness as my Cat met me. After two weeks of feeding by the nephewes.

Image
This is my 3rd trip into northern europe. 1995 for EC RC car.
2005 to North Cape. An this trip now. I see plenty of these signs.
BUT NOT A SINGLE TAIL OF THIS FANTASY ANIMAL.
I just want to say this.

It is a huge difference if you drive by car or by motorbike. The water is one aspect.
By motorbike you met far more people.

A special thanks go to the Norwegian people who help me to lift my motorbike.
To the one who lend me his 27 nut to tension my chain. To the one who imediately oil my chain and tell me where I can by a oil spray can.
To the Polish couple who pay the Ferry tax. The Ferry acepted only credid card.
I traveled without it. some interesting situations happened.
But finally all was fine.

I enjoyed this trip. :-D :yeah:

I hope that you will do it one time. I highly recommend:
Trollstigen was fantastic. A pic is only an eyecatcher. Nothing more. See it with your own eyes.
The weather was great. I run the serpents down in 2nd, 3rd gear slow and was impressed watching all the time. Fortunately there was low till no traffic.
The E6 (road to North Cape, E69) itselve is very impressive.

Congratulations, Wiking. It looks like it was not only a fantastic trip, but also a personal achievement worthy of admiration.

And what a wonderful collection of natural beauties you have captured in your complete photo report!

My deepest respect, my friend (with a little healthy envy included).

Santi.

My dad was born on a farmhouse outside of Tromso in April of 1951.

Came across on a boat in 1956 and always loved his new country, America!

I have never been but I hope to, some day. I probably will not "rough it" to the extent you did, my friend. Impressive stuff.

Oh !
I forgot to mention one thing.

in 2005 I used a map. Additionally written down my way on a piece of paper.
in 2023 I used the digital option (GPS) by navigation system and smartphone.

Stunning scenery. Looks like you've made memories for life! I was lucky enough to visit Norway in 2019 and thought it was a beautiful country full of the friendliest people.
