In a sport with tons of flashy individual stars, the Germans well understood the concept of "team." Well deserved World Cup win.

I´m not kidding... The first match against Brazil was very good, Croatia only lost because of "never-ever-penalty".

The other matches they´ve played good as well, and they´ve got very talented players (Perisic, Olic, Modric...)

I suppose it would be right on this forum to say well done to the Netherlands to get the third place slot.
I was fairly neutral until Argentina started repetitive fouling in late extra time up to that time Argentina had some good scoring chances. Boateng was the man of the match for me. Schurrle, Schweinstiger, Mario Gotze and Neuer were close if not joint in excellence.

The US had a strange game plan..."Just kick the ball to the Belgians, and let Howard make the save"
