Montezuma - King of Aztecs

Posted by Konrad on 22 Mar 2024, 20:17

Montezuma II (born 1466—died c. June 30, 1520, Tenochtitlán, within modern Mexico City) ninth Aztec emperor of Mexico, famous for his dramatic confrontation with the Spanish conquistador Hernán Cortés.

Does anyone know that?
There are figs that you just have to have.
I kept coming back to the PEGASO MODELS website to admire this fig.
For a long time it was too expensive for me and I thought I wouldn't be able to get it right.
But then I bought it after all.
That's exactly my thing.
An unusual and rare topic.
And all very colorful.

Hope you enjoy!

Konrad, you have achieved a beautifully painted figure of Moctezuma Xocoyotzin (Moctezuma the Younger), the last great emperor of the Aztecs, defeated in the early 16th century by a small Spanish military force under the command of the conquistador Hernán Cortés, supported by a large coalition of other peoples oppressed and exploited by the Aztecs.

This is an actual representation of Cortés' entry into Tenochtitlán (the capital of the Aztec empire) by the great contemporary Spanish artist Augusto Ferrer-Dalmau. I hope you enjoy it.

Best regards. :-)
