Do you mix the Vallejo paints with matte finish? Or water them way down and do tons of layers?

When I use Vallejo acrylics, well, they do not end up looking like your figures do.

Hello , I never paint with the original paint on the boat. I always do blends and multiple layers of light and shadow.
I do not use a matte finish. Only on the base coat I always use Andrea´s matte black.
And always dry with a hair dryer before starting another layer.

Great pieces as you have us used to.
Do you always use a blow dryer to flatten the layers of paint?
Santi.

Yes , always between layers of paint . I don´t have to wait for it to dry and it avoided shiny paint.

The paint must have cured a bit . Apply at a distance and medium speed so that the paint does not run .

Thanks so much for sharing some of the parts of your technique.

I don't think my wife will notice if I "borrow" her hair dryer--at least not until morning.
