In my stash I had several Historex figures and I decided I would build this figures as much as possible from Historex parts. Only the trousers are Airfix, because they had te right fit.
This was my first time working with HIstorex. Frankly, I prefer Airfix ;-) , Historex is a bit small in size. Especially horse are too thin, but also the figures lack a vibrancy. They all look the same ! But the abundance of small parts is a good point for Historex.
I left the horse assembled, as I got him. I only repainted it with thin layers of Valejo acrylics

The picture I used did give enough information, so I did a lot of research on the internet.

Once you have the information, construction is pretty straigthforward.
I cut the aiguillettes in two, so I could glue the cords better to the figure.
