Little Romans

Posted by Konrad on 19 May 2020, 15:57

My entry for the 50th PC.
Figs from VAN DYCK MINIATURES.
In the meantime I have painted more of these nice figs.
In these scale very good quality.
And I also added Roman artillery.
The Scorpion, a light gun.

Many thanks to everyone who voted for me.
In the end, my "Little Romans" were probably too small. :-D

Hi Konrad,
painting Romans in all scales aren't you? Well, it is the best way to become one yourself! I use the same word our fellows used before: wondeful figures! Small and beautiful. You manage to get the Roman feel into such small sizes. Don't tell us you are going to paint whole légions of them :sweatdrop:
Great fan of your work - and sad not to see you and them in real in Arnhem this year

You have done an amazing paintjob on these wonderful and diminutive figures, Konrad. :notworthy:

(By the way, I voted for them  ). My very best congratulations.

Santi.

Thanks for entering the painting contest and sharing more of your Romans here. They are really fantastic little sculpts, brought to life as always by your skilled brush.

You are a winner in my book.

Your little Romans are every bit as good as your larger ones. Terrific painting on what seems to be very cool little figures. the scorpions look great too.
