Posted by MABO on 21 Sep 2010, 22:05

I just saw the number of this set in the list for E18. Butt there are no further details avaliable. Has any of the "gentle readers" any informations about this "global set"?

AFAIK Mrs J. has resisted giving any hints.

So, enemies of the Romans might include 1)a set of lead water pipes to poison the populace
2)a few tax-collector figures to show excessive taxation
3) and a handful of figures of crazy/ambitious emperors.

My money's on a mixed bag of already available Gauls, Carthaginians, Hannibal's allies, etc.

I'd prefer Donald's version. Tax-collectors for the win!

But there has been a set like this, that is the reason why I asked?

It probably is yet another special set for a certain market (probably U.S. again) like they did for the Punic Wars. But I would like it to have been the crazy/ambitious emperors set myself although the tax collectors would be interesting as well. Speaking of Alex does he have a store on line or does he do Valdemar as well?? ( sorry my brain ain't what it used to be, for that matter ever was  )

I am not sure if I understand you right, but I think Alex is only mastering for Valdemar. But they are both members here and can correct me.

Speaking about HäT: So we have to wait and see. Or is Mrs. Jones hiding here in this forum 8) 8)

I doubt it... not about Mrs. Jones lurking of course! :xd: :laughing1: :sst:
I doubt just hat's releases and working times! :cussing:

Concerning roman enemies (and particular romans as well) i'll keep arrange by myself as I did for the etruscans! :finger:
If I had to wait hat for certain potential (or pretended) "next" releases I would be still waiting from 5 years...

Concerning mad emperors I'm actually trying to make Nero, making the last musicians he obviously came in my mind too! :winky:
I'm also making a set with some other figures that could fit with a tax collection scenery too...

It will take me some months to make these new figures... but i guess I'll finish before the hat etruscans release! :finger2:

well, considering I have over 14000 figures to paint in that scale, 5 years is just about right as a timeline for me ( of course that doesn't mean a shopping moratorium for me though hehe).
