I like the way they´ve put up this list;

A01763 - WWII British Infantry Northern Europe (1:72 Scale)
A75001 - European Ruined Workshop
A75002 - European Ruined Cafe
A75003 - European Ruined Corner House
A75004 - European Ruined Country Cottage

First comes the British soldiers and then the wrecked buildings. Are they trying to say something? :-) and where´s the "European Ruined Pub"? :-)

New stuff from Airfix ?

Really ? Not just some repackaged old stuff ?

When I see it I'll believe it but I'll give them the benefit of the doubt and hope they really do have something new in the pipeline.

It would be interesting to know where they're planning on moulding the new stuff.

The last Airfix stuff I bought after they were rescued by Hornby were made in India, in a kind of hard slippery plastic, unfortunately full of flash :cry:

Why on earth European firms can't keep producing their wares in Europe is a sore point in my view :nono:

Why are those new buildings (and trucks) in 1/76 scale?

They'll be too tiny . . .

That's because manufacturing costs are too expensive in Europe. When the politicians encourage manufacturing then companies pour in, like Spain 10-15 years ago, and Ireland a few years ago, then when politicians raise taxes and make it difficult, the same companies pour out.

I hope these aren't just the Waterloo Farm House parts which holes bashed in them by disgruntled European workers when they shifted the molds to India.

With regards to the WW2 British Infantry, I seem to remember that at one stage Airfix released the Esci WW2 British under their boxes. I wonder if this is the same?

But the other news on PSR is that they will stop the sale of the Italeri/Esci set. Buying them up and holding onto them might be a good idea. ????
