Two other upcoming sets are progressing...
056 - Neo-Assyrian Empire Set 1 Infantry 911-605 BC
kisir sharruti 084 - Neo-Assyrian Empire Set 5 Infantry 911-605 BC
kisir sharruti, sa sepeActually, set 56 mainly features (heavy) archers.
A very good development which I would also like to see for other combatants from antiquity to the Middle Ages.
Wouldn't mind specific sets on Cretan, Persian or Parthian Archers in their respectively distinctive look.
Same with Thracian, Agrianian & Persian Peltasts or even Balearic Slingers.
Some of these subjects would surely deserve a corresponding portrayal in 1/72.
There is so much more to depict about early long-range warfare than just English longbowmen of the 100YW.
Why names in a dead language are being added is beyond me, particularly considering the already unnecessarily long and confusing box titles/names.
Overall, useful and attractive enrichments to the respective subjects.
