Pulp wargaming with 20 mm figures advice needed

Posted by M.P. on 23 Jul 2015, 13:35

Hi,

I'd like to play Pulp Alley ir Astounding tales with 1/72 minis in african/egyptian setting but finding minis for it is quite a challange.

Airfix bedouins and esci arab warriors

Hat Ruga Ruga for baggage bearers

Hat Zulu

But what about mummies, archeologists and cultists?

It's just a suggestion. Maybe you can have a look at the WWI and Boer wars sets to. For the mummies, maybe some zombies of Caesar might do the job.

Cultists: Twilight Creations, or Valdemar if you're feeling rich.

Mummies: Arcane Legions, as Paul says, or Eagle Games.

Also, check out Elhiem's 20mm Pulp line (be sure to scroll down). Monsters, cultists, even a familiar "American adventurer."
