Conversion potencial of HaT Peninsular War British Infantry

Posted by XbriX on 18 Jul 2024, 07:19

A quick question to all you Napoleonic-inclined gentlemen, I got my hands on a box of HaT 8186
Peninsular War British Infantry. I was wondering if those figures could be used for anything other than your humble redcoats. Remember, that there are light infantry and Belgic heads in the set. Thanks!

Late Peninsular War Portuguese and Spanish, who were supplied with British kit (no lace on the front, though). Portuguese shakos earlier on were very similar to the Belgic shakos.
And I have converted some to Brunswick Oels, although that involved a head swap (French style shako) and work on the shako plumes.
And there were some foreign troops in British service (Sicilians. I think?) who wore this same uniform.
Or, you could just give them to me! :-D (Joking - have enough...)
