Hi All,

My son has just finished his first very own painting project, all his from painting to flocking. He has along way to go but I hope he sticks with the hobby. I hope you can enourage him.

Regards

Ken

Remember we all started this way. Tell your son I like them. How old is he?

A very nice paintjob for someone who's 9 years old. My first figs also looked like these. ;-)

Paint as much as you can, and try new techniques as you go along.

teach him all the secrets of this art ken!
good to see he already has an eye for realism: brown and ochre trousers as worn in Spain, besides the official green/grey.

Cheers,

He's 9, he got the trouser idea from watching Sharpe, I think the episode in particular was when Sharpe met Capt Fredericksons company.

Hi Ken,
By painting these figures and watching good old Sharpe he shows to have interest in History.
And that cannot be said of all 9 years old!
I've got a 9 years old girl here at home, so I know.
Keep on stimulating him.
One day he'll paint like Benno and he is only 10 years older!

There comes a new artist.
I wished, my sons would also show so much interest.

Nice work, especially for the age. Everyone had to start somewhere. Its better to start now then later. More time for painting and learning about the history.
