Beautifully composed and I love your base work. Trees are always extremely difficult to reproduce and you’ve made a good job of yours.
The painting of your minis is terrific but for me the most remarkable feature of your diorama is the fence. Wow. Brilliantly done……. was it scratch-built? The way you have weathered it is most convincing.
But I am tempted back to edit my post to complement you even more. Despite all of these elements and your great photography, I am drawn back to your confederate troops who, I can almost hear taunting the enemy to come and have a go at them. Stunning!

Most impressive painting of these veteran mouldings.

The tree and groundwork are lovely and whilst the weathering looks great, personally the fence panels look too big.

You may find this excellent link useful for Civil War fencing.

The whole series is brilliant.

Nevertheless, splendid stuff.

Best wishes ,
