Romes enemies

Posted by ells10 on 03 Jan 2024, 21:27

Rome's enemies emerge from the forest, my fictitious Celtic force made up from various manufacturers including: Newline Designs, Airfix, Caesar, HaT, Italeri, Linear-A, Esci, MiniArt and Revell.

What an army!
My greatest respect!
Perhaps the troops will meet my
Roman Cohort at some point.

Amazing army. I didn't have the discipline to paint them all.

Hello Ells10, really an overwhelming mass. How could the Romans resist?
I am very impressed and I like your painting - very effective. I know it is not easy to paint large numbers of different - non uniformized - guys.
Greetings
Michael

What an enormous amount of beautifully painted "barbarians".
+500?  fieeeww! how much time did that take you?
I am not familiar with these figures from the various manufacturers because I do not collect them myself. Undoubtedly there are differences in size, but once painted these all seem to disappear and you even get a natural view of people of different sizes.
Very well done and hat off for such an amount of well painted figures.
thanks for sharing.

Wow, what a huge and cool collection of so nicely painted figures, ells10. I like the mix of different manufacturers that fit so well together (Airfix, Italeri, Linear A, Revell and, above all, Caesar Miniatures ones).

My respects, Sir!

Santi.

Wonderful! such a blend of different soldiers, yet they all look well together painted in the same style. Seems a huge alliance between tribes doing a last stand against the Romans...
