Last figures for 2023

Posted by PhilC on 31 Dec 2023, 19:23

Hi, just a small topic to show that I didn't give up 1/72 figures in spite of all these 28mm Orcs out there :)

Enguerrand, Templar Knight, wishes you a Heavenly New Year

The Dragoons of the 12th regiment wish you another Sun of Austerlitz

Aymé, simple soldier in the Régiment du Lyonnais, wishes everybody a pair of dry socks

These figures illustrate a 2023 Painting Review - see here: https://philotepsfigures.blogspot.com/2023/12/2023-review-ive-painted-bit-more-than.html

I wish you all a happy(ier) New Year.

Brrr! It looks so cold!
That knight is from Hät El Cid Spanish command box right? It looks terrific all in white, such a good idea. And your dragons remind me on my next project, a DBN French army.
Thanks for sharing and Happy New Year!

I wanted a scene that reminded the season, so... That's why I haven't shown the Minotaurs and the (naked) Amazons, they would have turned blue

Regarding the knight, you're absolutely right! A wonderful Hät figure, one of their best in my opinion.

A DBN French army ? In 1/72, or you keep on painting 15mm ? I hope we will see them soon...

A DBN French army in 1/72, and after that probably two more, English and Russian. I'll base them on 25mm DBA bases and in two ranks, but I haven't ordered them yet ;-)

I second all of that! I also like the El Cid Command figure painted this way.

Very nice your latest 2023 figures, Phil. I'm sure the 2024 ones will be the same or better. And I like the winter scenery a lot too.
