Jaime Lannister (ASOIAF)

Posted by Bearfix72 on 17 May 2023, 18:38

Even at a distance, Ser Jaime Lannister was unmistakable. The moonlight had silvered his armor and the gold of his hair, and turned his crimson cloak to black . He was not wearing a helm.
- Catelyn X - A Game of Thrones

Hello everyone, in my first post on this forum I'm going to share my recently completed figure of Jaime Lannister during the battle in the Whispering Wood.

I took the Joan of Arc figure from the Italeri 100 Years War French Warriors box and cut her head off (not historically accurate). I then took the bare head and cloak of one of the knights from the Caesar Miniatures Medieval Knights (Crusaders) box and pinned and glued them together. I also took a horse from the Italeri set and carved away some details on the caparison.

The figure was then painted with Vallejo and Citadel paints. For the gold I used the excellent recipe from Vince Venturella.

Thank you for taking a look

Nice work on the conversion! And I like how the gilded armor came out too!

Excellent work on sir Jaime. If anyone hasn't seen Vince Venturella's youtube channel you're missing out. He is one of the best painters around and has thousands of videos on every aspect of paint and painting.
Cheers,
