New photos of an old diorama …

„A lynx sneaks on“

In 1975, the first Spähpanzer Luchs were handed over to the troops. The four-wheel drive vehicle had four steerable axles. The Luchs was buoyant in its original version. The crew consisted of commanders, gunners, drivers and radio operators/backward driver. The main weapon of the Luchs was the MK 20 Rh 202 (MaschinenKanone 20 mm Rheinmetall). This weapon was housed in the swiveling turret. Further armament was a Fla-MG 7,62mm. The Spähpanzer Luchs was decommissioned in 2009. A Luchs was donated to the Panzermuseum Munster and can be visited there.

I reworked this old diorama and made new photos. I hope you like the pictures a bit.

Have fun. :-D

I could never make vehicles as good as you. But I have one remark, ground looks pretty moist and brownish. Dust on vehicle looks very dry and yellowish. Plants are very nice addition to the whole.

Thank you for your kind comment. Rejoice over it! :-D Also thanks for your criticism. :yeah: However, one must not forget that this diorama is about 4 years old. The vehicle is about 6 years old. For this model I used photo etched parts for the first time - which we unfortunately can see now. Also, I used airbrush for dusting for the first time. What we unfortunately can see here again..... :eh: But the best way to learn is by trying!!!! Sometimes it succeeds, sometimes it does not succeed. As always in life. ;-)
A reworking was not possible in these points. Pity!

Total disaster!

There is no problem visible with etched parts. Nor the painting with the airbrush.
The plants are bend in the direction to the move of the eight wheeler.
Correctly the accompanying soldier do his duty and point the way to the next pub.
And after a long search I finally find the discrepancy in the Dio.
There is no hole at the end of the long tube !
So it is impossible for the crew to get the most important stuff from the pup !
The snorkel is closed !!!

Nice clean build as always.
:yeah:
