Yup the jacket of the officer is supposed to be black... but I didn't want to repaint it when I found out. The gold is painted with brown and yellow colors.

This figure is actually a general/colonel.. well.. he wears the uniform of a general/colonel. These had black jackets. Great to hear you like the pictures.
