Foot Artillery of the Old Guard

Posted by Captain Sibourne on 27 Aug 2024, 07:34

My Waterloo project continues. Liam recently completed a battery of Foot Artillery of the Old Guard. I've put these on my Waterloo model just North of La Belle Alliance; these join two other batteries in the same area.

Having got the section out of its box, I have also photographed other figures in the same area. These show infantry battalions of the Old Guard coming forward, the Imperial headquarters and casualties moving to the rear. I will be adding Decoster's farm to the south later this week.

I'm very grateful to Liam for these terrific conversions which are mostly Zvezda Line Artillery with a head swap and some Hagen.

Fantastic! So much going on here, I wouldn't know where to begin. Those Zvezda figures converted very nicely.

Impressive stuff as always from the good Captain.

The amount of effort involved is enormous and the results really are a visual feast for the eyes.

Liams foot artillery look good with the mix of conversions and the Hagen chaps.

I like Francessco’s wounded cuirassier vignette personally. I might have to get one for the re fight.

Best wishes,

Chris

As I'm used to depict a foot artilleryman as a reanactor, I can only like your post. :yeah:

The ball isn't open until Napoleon's daughters debut. Feels like a big step in finalizing things. Nice work by Liam, great looking figures and guns. Getting a tad crowded on these boards!

What a work! Very dynamic and detailed. Your terrain is possibly the best I have seen. the grass, looks real and like the wind is actually blowing through this battle field. yet seamlessly integrates the roads and minis.

thank you for sharing
