This duel was so cool, 2 same figures but so different, Fantastic!
The winner is Javier (Blacksmit) and he told me he would paint it in a total different style.
And he did, a real cool entry.
But it was a close call during the duel, yeah Mr. X had an perfect entry as well, even added a mushroom.
So in my opinion no looser here, but the voters where on Blacksmits side.
Thanks both for this cool duel, and also the voters of course!
Now we just need some more duelers, so come on and take this chance!
It's no fun without you, just give it a try...

I agree with you Remco. Cool topic this time and an impressive different interpretation. Conratulations to both of you.

These were both good, but the Drow was just such a creative, unexpected interpretation.
I honestly don't pay attention to the competitors when I get the chance to vote.

Hello, congratulations to the winner for whom I voted myself
Small point, it is noted in the rules that it is not necessary to make a base and although I made my choice by trying to hide the base I do not know if it had an influence on my vote
In any case, thank you to Mr. X and all his competitors for offering us a nice duel every month :yeah:

I was very excited to paint a miniature for this contest and think about the colour palette to use; it was great fun and I recommend to everybody to try this competition among friends where winning is the least important thing or not important at all.
I'm sorry about the base but when I realised about it the figure was almost finished so I decided to keep going.
[edited] I love the mushroom!

Congratz to Blacksmith. I've voted for the skin ("normal" one) this time (finally not for better photos) :xd:

Sorry I missed this duel, my lads. Great job by both painters. I would have voted for the shroom, but I also loved the Drow.

Very good entries again. Interesting difference in colours for them both.

Nice job on both, but I was particularly impressed by the color scheme and getting the flesh tones to work for the drow!

I agree with Minuteman's opinion, I like them both very much. But Javier's skill at painting fantasy figures is already legendary on this forum.

Congratulations to both duelists.
