Congratulations Observer!!!!

The Preiser WW2 refugees would have been my first choice for a "civilians-scene" in this era. Your work has lots of atmosphere in it. You did a great realistic work here!

So three  from your "runner up".

At first: Sorry for replying so late-i was very very busy in the last days due to constructing a wooden terrace.

So at this point many thanks for all those who voted for my entry and for all your kind replies and comments - thanks a lot!

I was really surprised and a bit proud for going so far in this competition dealing with such great and wonderful works put in by the other competitors!
It was a hard and long road for me to go ("struggling"with the awesome "Death of Archimedes" and the lifelike and brilliant "No Taxes") and i had a very, very good and close follow up with the excellent "Hussite Hotpot" , another amazing work by the famous Thomas Dürrschmidt!!!

Congratulations to all you mates/competitors("Giordano Bruno"-Great!!! / "Passing by"-Amazing-i loved it!) -i really like all of the entered dios !
Thats especially because i think the theme was a bit difficult to fulfill , but also very inspiring (thanks to you Benno-please go on with this kind of stuff !!!).

This was -really and no kiddin- my first diorama ever build......and it will surely be not the last!

As i entered my dio i really didn´t waste a thought in getting far-in fact my goal was to get a round further than my first attempt ("Curse of the Crystal Throne") wich was kicked out in round one.

In the next couple of days i will post some more pics of "Spring 1945" - showing the whole scenery and giving some more concrete infos about the dio.

So many thanks again and many greetings to all of you

Dominik
