Impressive pictures! There is a lot to be said for looking upwards in a city when things are quiet, with little traffic or people to bump into! When I lived in London I would sometimes do this on a Sunday afternoon - dead quiet in the City of London at this time, and lots of interest architecturally.

What is the impressive red brick tower? A water tower perhaps? Or the lair of a fabled wizard in a more fantastic world??

Is a water tower..Inside you can visit and have beautiful 360º views of the entire maritime front of the city and is a monument of the modernist architecture of an disciple of Antonio Gaudi.
