Both great conversions....I especially like the one crouching with the revolver...the bod as it was before is a terrible pose but you have saved it

Welcome back to our master converter. They look great, I'll bet Mike Creek is jealous. He's been after some 1941 US troops for a long time.

Jaques does great work. He sent me some similar photos and they will appear on my blog in the next couple days.

I have a few figures that I use for the early PI period. There are many great wargame scenarios both on Bataan, Wake Island, and the Netherlands Indies. It is interesting to play Americans vs Japanese in the Pacific war and have the Japanese be the ones with tanks, air superiority and other advantages usually reserved for the Americans.

Actually, the old Airfix WWI American Infantry would be good for early Pacific war if they were head swapped with troops wearing the tin pot. They don't have the respirator on their chests like the Emhar and HaT WWI US Army figures, so they work better for WWII.

Toss in a few figures like Jaques has made to give more variety and more weapons and you have a pretty good set. The .30 caliber machine gun is a nice addition as is the shotgun. Adding a couple Thompson gunners would be good too.
