The figures I ordered from a talented South Australian arrived today:

15 (incl command) Prussian SYW cuirassiers
18 limber horses
2 wizards

Below are photos of the cuirassiers. The quality of the work is beyond criticism.
And whilst a bit more fragile than plastic or metal figures, they're not bad - the swords, for example, can bend.

TBH they're a bit too expensive to order figures/units/armies willy-nilly but I anticipate getting the odd figure & unit that you can't get otherwise.

These do look fantastic sculpts. I’m sure they would be expensive, but worth it by the looks of things.

About $70 for 15 mounted figures. Not outrageous but dear enough not to plan an army of 3d figures.

Very nice indeed.

I have started to use more printed figures as they have developed into something more robust than the early creations.

Nevertheless, plastic is cheaper and some metals are too.

We should perhaps a thread on how we've abused our little figures - if that wasn't too traumatic.
I once dropped a tray full of figures. I still wince in memory.

However, I am pretty careful otherwise! They take too long to paint to be rough with them.
But I take your point - finest crystal glass it is!
