Another phalanx?

Posted by Konrad on 16 Mar 2022, 20:23

Years ago I made a Macedonian Phalanx.
These Linear-A figures are really very nice, as our friend Ochoin said.
But this time it won't be a complete phalanx with 256 men.
Painted a figure to see how the lance (sarissa) looks like at the end.
Also made some paper stickers for the shields again.

Will be continued....

Very nice figure Konrad. You sure you don't want to paint just another 255? One heckuva investment for a single unit I have to admit. And I thought I was taking on something doing 36 figures for a battalion. Your paper stickers look really nice, I'm guessing you have to use the thinnest paper available? If I may ask I am curious about how you apply it as well.
Cheers,

I bought these phalanx too and eventually will be painted.

My Linear A phalangites sit, undercoated, & waiting for me to finish my SYW Hungarians.

Gee but it's hard to look at Konrad's figure & not want to start painting them in order to try to approach his excellence!
