US Colonial Marines

A while ago I accidentally scored some 1/72nd Dark Dream Studio space marines. They looked a bit funny, but I could see that with some converting, they'd look a lot like the Colonial Marines from the 1986 film Aliens. Some head swaps and some weapons modifications and they're nearly done, I just need to sort out the bases (which will require some special work). Meanwhile, here's a teaser!

Sadly all the figures supplied were male, so the figure above with the head band is as close as you're going to get to Vasquez. But I do have a Ripley and a Carter Burke from Weyland Yutani, and a dropship pilot.

I wish! Those things (and the APC) are so damn rare. I've seen them going for $80+ on ebay. If only I'd bought a couple when they first came out.
