Not sure about how to do this, just seen here that people are giving their figures a "wash" so I am putting mine in the dishwasher this evening. What better way to wash them?

Seems that most of us are painting more than the one figure Jan wants. Are we going to do something with the rest of them?

1st Regiment of Lighthorse - Lancers ( Polish ) of the Imperial Guard.
Horses they rode
I Squadron rode Chestnuts
II Squadron on Bays
III Squadron on Blacks
IV Squadron on Greys

They look very neat and well balanced on formal paper. BB

Found a box with figures in and after comparing them to PSR I am quite positive they are ESCI! :-D

Image

And now I see why I have painted all turnbacks red. :-D

But painted as light infantry. Also started with the lancer and a chausseur. :-D You've got us working Jan! :whip: :sweatdrop: :-D

And I was a Waterloo-bum once. We all have a past.

They are the same figures Gunnar. ( Esci & Italeri,Plastic Soldier Review ) I posted the pictures and info on the Project ( BFFF ) a few days ago . So you found the same box as I did in my collection. As for me I`m having trouble with the horses that I agreed to paint. They keep Galloping off the table. Opps a Daisy ! There go another two. BB

Unfortunatley not the same, just similar. Found A LOT of the Italeri figures, painted and unpainted. These: http://www.plasticsoldierreview.com/Review.aspx?id=191 Pity Jan doesn't wanted any of those.

But finally I found them! :-D http://www.plasticsoldierreview.com/Review.aspx?id=102

And painting the two "guitar-players". :-D

Galloping off the table can be disastrous for your figures I've read. Lucky that our dog is very reluctant to enter the guestroom where I sit and paint. He prefer to sleep in my bed. :-D

Great figures and paintjob, Martin. So nice to see them. I have thought about the fact with the flags. But in my opinion it is nice to have the nations symbolized with their flags. So maybe the rivet-counters are merciful

In spite of having to work on other stuff,I have managed to paint and do some of the work on my selection of figures for the project. However no finer details have been done so please do not think this one above is finished. Over the past few weeks the eye strain has been very bad, sending my head spinning in dizziness so much so that I couldn`t work on my own figures. Today glad to say the problem is solved, after rigging up my old faithful Visor up with two new lenses . SoI can see these tiny 22mm figures quite crystal clear.

Image

So very hopeful now in getting a much finer job of work done. BB

First of all: Fine work so far BB. I am looking forward to the next phase!

Then I have recieved the first figures for the project: Marvin has sent his wonderful two figures

Image

perfectly protected. They arrived here safely. Thank you as well for your offer to paint more figs for the BFFFWP. As we have already discussed, I think we should wait until the end of this month.

But for the other member: Do not hesitate if you are interested in painting a figure for the Waterloo-Dio that will be presented on the FIGZ in Arnhem. Have a look on the list here http://bennosfiguresforum.com/viewtopic.php?f=169&t=17046 and chose a figure you like and which is still free.

I have finished the Dutch horse artillery.

I found different informations on the color of the metal part. I decided to paint them black. What do the experts say here?

I have finished as well the Lüneburg Jägers from Art Miniaturen

This is the one for the dio:

Next figure I take care is the Brunswick Ensign, But if somebody els will take this he is free to chose. But I have the Art Figs and I was in the mood to start painting him.

well, I am no expert for sure... ;)
I used this page to reference how to paint my gun for the Project, not sure about the accuracy of the dates, (but the French parts are OK, I am sure /edit: the colors of the french artillery pieces, I meant...)

Yeah! Glad they arrived safely. :-D Maybe my packaging was a bit overkill- but then you don't know our postal service! ;-)

And I'm absolutely fine with waiting as discussed. The more involved in this great project the better in my view, but if any extra assistance does become required then I'm happy to help. :-)

Thanks for the info. I have read that they painted their guns like the British ones in blue. So maybe both is possible..?! :stare: ;-)
