1/72 source of paper models? (ships, castles, etc)

Posted by Xantippos on 04 Sep 2022, 07:56

I was wondering if you know any website to find paper models to download for free, to use for figurines in wargaming ;-) , to avoid long and tiresome scratchbuilding of things like boats, castles, towns, etc. Before I could find some, but nowadays I can't seem to find any, and the few I find have high prices not too far from plastic models :o .

I have a good printer and just bought some a4 card, so I am ready to start rolling out models :-)

I use Graffam Models in Drivethru. They are cheap and good. Besides the same model comes with 2-3 different skin so you can get several models from one. And sometimes there is one free.
Here you have a picture with several of them used in WWII (I use the same ones for Fantasy):

I have built quite a few Dave Graffam models, and reducing the scale until they look right with 1/72s is not difficult. I have been looking at this company for my next projects:

They have a nice looking Viking ship, among other things. I don’t know how difficult they are to build.
