My wife bought these for me at IKEA for my birthday. The top three drawers are 2 1/2 inches deep and the bottom three drawers are 3 1/2 inches deep. I can fit either two of the Sterilite containers or one "scrapbook" box that I use to transport figures in the bottom drawers. It's on wheels so I can roll it underneath my game table. You could just not put the wheels on a second one and stack them if you wanted.
