Yesterday a friend of me at blogger sended me the following link about the GW paints.
I hope this Conversion chart is usefull for some of you!
http://www.tabletopgamer.com/citadel-pa ... ate-guide/My friend also sended me this to explain the new range of paints:
Then you have
Base paints. They're a bit thicker than the Layer paints to get a better coverage of your miniature and can also be used as undercoat on your miniatures.
Then the
Layer paints are more fluent so the paint below shines a bit through it ( depends on how thick or how many layers you make / want )
Then you have
Dry paints. They're for drybrushing ( thicker paint )
Then
texture paints for easy basing.
Then
Shades are the washes.
Then
Glazes , they work like washes with one difference. They add color everywhere you apply it , not only in the gaps.
And finally
Technical paints like Varnish , etc...
And for Konrad: Dwarf Flesh = Ratskin Flesh (layer paint)
That's the short version of what I know.
And here is a link to his blog, so you can see what he paints
