The FIGZ Promo Group was once again at the Euro Modell Expo in Lingen this year.

And like every time, Remco scared me that he would turn into a very evil creature if I didn't write a long report. So I'm writing with sweaty fingers...
The event was better visited than last time a year ago. So Remco had made sure that everyone in the hall couldn't get past the FIGZ.
Fortunately, our stand was right next to Martin's stand from https://www.miniatuurwereld.com
In addition to many different figures, he also had his 3D printed delicacies with him again.
Remco broke the magic barrier of 600 painted Romans and, as always, was approached by many enthusiastic people.
But only after he had taken the obligatory photo of Hans.
Hans continued to work on his airfield project and this time presented finished lorries.
Benno again amazed many visitors with his 6mm models and armies. Especially many modellers of the 1/35 scene...
Andrea, who painted his set of Hagen miniatures (https://www.hagen-miniatures.de/test-category-21/figures-40/napoleons-egypt-campaign/french-army-204/officer-in-kleber-uniform-set-1-2074.html) most consistently of all of us, was there for the first time: Napoleon in Egypt, inspired by the famous painting of "Napoleon with his followers in Egypt." by Jean-Léon Gerome
This time I worked on a small display of vehicles from the American 9th Armoured Division that my son can use for his guided tours of the bridge museum there.
Our stand was unique in that it had the most figures in one place.
Also on the "Globe of the FIGZ World" by Erik-Jan, who was there in his thoughts.
As always, there was an incredible amount to see at the Euro Modell Expo: Dioramas, vignettes, vehicles, aeroplanes and ships.
And of course there was a big competition again, with lots of categories that I still can't get my head round.
Here too, aeroplanes, ships and above all tanks in 1/35th scale.
And you could buy models, models, models and models...
... and colours and accessories too.
To be continued...
