Isn't it an event with figs? Well, if you are just going to meet and take a beer maybe we won't need pics (just da beer). :occasion:

Well spotted
Mind you I let it slip by saying "I´ll grab a table near the bar"
Herne is in fact a males only drinking and mud wrestling contest cunningly disguised as a Modell event.
The clue is in the herne part of the advertising. It´s pronounced "Her ? Ne!" meaning "no women !" in old miners slang of the 1920´s and 30´s. It was commonly seen as a sign on the pithead toilets of the period. Unfortunately, the Women Against Sexist Pits, stopped the use of such signs in the late 30´s.
Strangley enough, the Women Against Sexist Pits (or W.A.S.P´s) wore black and yellow clothing to be recognised, usually a scarf, a practice still observed by both males and females in and around Dortmund, usually on a saturday when the local footy side plays. Don´t ask me why though. :-)

This and many other ludicrous facts are in my soon to be released book, "How I can make up nonsense at the drop of a hat"
17.99€ at all good bookshops (20.99€ at the bad ones)

Dear Paul,

it's definately time we get to know each other. Not only that I like your sense of humor, but also that I think you might want to meet a social worker to get yourself some help !

Anyways, so far I can't imagine anything that might keep my girl and me from going there. She's a good wrestler and will sport her fake moustache that way back attracted me. :silent:

We've made a pact not to buy anything not extremely important as we're moving together in January, and we're both willing to get rid of a couple of things instead of filling up my current small flat with even more figure sprues and alike..
But there should never be a pact unbroken, don't you think ?
Since she's coming with me, I doubt I could tell her you boys gave me presents for my soon-to-be birthday anyway, so any plea is welcome !!

Just two more weeks.
Which traders will be there ?
Could anyone please bring (me) some Valdemar figures ??

Gruss,
Marc.

Oh he does, we´re going to swop notes on you Peter :-) :-) :joker:
As for buying figs and stuff when your Wife/girlfriend is present, easy. I find the phrase, "what!!! they´ve got the set of (add whatever here) and there not available that often" This will work for just about any set/figure cos wives/girlfriends haven´t, usually, any idea what you´ve already got or what is common or not. This phrase is a cover all for most things, Figures, books,CD´s, anything as long as she doesn´t collect them/it as well. ;-) :-)

Well that makes it easy. If Andreas comes then you just need to stand in his vacinity and the rest takes care of its self. he´s got my handy number as well. :-) As for Valion finding us.........well he just has to look for three handsome young princes discussing the merits of pixies and deep dark woods.
