Black Queen 2014.

Posted by Kekso on 14 Sep 2014, 08:10

Hey guys... as I promised to some forum friends here are some photos from competition.

http://s1223.photobucket.com/user/dalibor_cavic/slideshow/BlackQueen2014?sort=3

Sorry for not posting pictures here but there are more than 40 of them.

There were more than 350 models in competition and more than 100 in exhibition section.
But I took only pictures of stuff that might be interesting for forum members. Unfortunately,
as usual, very small number of small scale figures and dioramas. Mig Jimenez also canceled
his visit day before competition, but that didn't affect figure painters

I was also a referee for sci-fi-fantasy and civil vehicles section and that was fun. Regarding
shopping, I bought me one AK Interactive black acrylic paint and ice cream (yes Remco, I though of you :-D)

Okay, I hope you'll enjoy photos... though I'm a bit bad photographer. 8)

Skin on female figures is most difficult stuff to paint if you ask me. That and white colored clothing.
And I still have so much to learn and practice. So, that will wait for many more years :)

Thank you, I got 2 btw :D
