Batavian Rebels of the Batavian Revolt in 69/70AD.
These are conversions of Hat Roman Auxiliaries, bases for DBMM gaming.

Again a great paintjob from Mr. Cryns - very nice! I especially like your color schemes, which look very realistic. For instance, the "red" one could achieve in antiquity, having only natural dyes and pigments at hand, was never as bright as you will see, say, on a modern traffic sign. This is applied in a very convincing manner here.

I like the appearance of the Batavians in a mix of Roman armour. Very good paintjob, as well. I agree with sberry.

As I am not familiar with those Hat figures that you converted,i wonder if you have ever considered, before and after photo shots of your work ? It only takes a click of the camera. I would find that very interesting indeed. Perhaps others might even try doing similar conversions too.

Yes but only few. Usually I forget to make such 'before' shots but from now on I will try to do so.
