Waterloo Grande Batterie in progress

A lot of you know I am working on a huge Waterloo diorama.
The first part of 240cm x 120cm (10%) is ready.
These pics were taken at the messe in Lingen (G) in January.
Today the horses of the 12 limbers and 12 ammo wagons are fixedto their basis.

The whole grande batterie will be :
30 guns with limbers, 64 ammo wagons, 20 bagage wagons, 500 horses, 250 trainsoldiers, 300 artillerymen, 220 infantrymen (85th inf reg. in square), 150 cavalry (Travers division waiting).
Next FIGZ another part of 240cm x 120cm will be ready.

It looks good already, I'm sure it will be an impressive sight once it is all finished.

I like this project of yours Martin but let me ask is that grass/crops looks a bit on the white color is it that way or how the pics turned out?

@Chris + Maurice: the dio is divided in pieces of 60x60cm and will be stored in boxes.
@Musketier: The "White"parts suppose to be a wheatfield. It is not finished yet.
The browner parts are the areas where the infantry crossed to make their vast attack on the allied lines.

I've seen it last year at Kampen and it is huge. The progress you showing us here Martin looks promesing :thumbup:
