Amazing! Lovely scene!, the flame on the torchs looks pretty good ( a difficult subject the fire IMO)

@Karl:Please tell us how you managed to make the wood so realistic?
Light beige primer and then spread it with oil paint Schmincke "burnt umber" generous!
A bit can attract and then take down with a paper towel again!
So much, until you like it ...!

Dirk, I was going to comment on your work when I saw version 1.0, but I have to say, I'm glad I waited!! Your changes really improved the overall scene, it's much more realistic and lifelike. And I like what you did with the torches and the reflections painted on the walls, interesting idea. And what did you use for the straw? :thumbup:
