Hi west1871
For Soviet armor
Base coat your vehicle with Vallejo Russian Green then highlight with a mix of Russian Green and white (90:10).
I use gunmetal grey as base for tracks highlighted with Panzer aces track primer and a little silver as a finishing touch.Since most Soviet tanks were not in the field to long most were not camo'd but a few used a mix pattern of flat earth for summer and a white wash for winter. all paints are Vallejo.
for pics i think Flames of war has an excellent gallery and advice. they did good research there.

Dont matter.
The russsian camo-colours were used from nearly 10 producers.

so you can make your tanks look like dark green to olive and tan-greeen mixture.

get your ideas a chance.

that`s our hobby.

west for the soviet get as look at this..
http://www.hsgalleries.com/gallery04/su76mcw_1.htm
give some idea with tamiya colours..
valleio is not so good on veichles..
to thin ..vallejio is god for shade and dry brushin but not as base colours..
the british use a sso called "khaky drab" ..
Image
you can use the humbrol "bronze green" as base then ad some light with green or khaky..
but there are no a exact colour..
armor veichles can be found in a lot of different shade of colours..
dirtymdust how the paint was prepared and give..a lot of factors..
