Nope, Tjeromeke - not 1/72. Playing 30 Years War in 1/72 is like making a movie about Borodino when you have only 30 actors. That's what a Tercio in 1/72 would look like, if you want to keep it playable. Otherwise you'd need a table sized 6x9 meters
I want to play it in 15mm (preferred) or 10mm - but i'd take a system designed for 1/72 or even bigger figures and scale it down.
For the moment i am still busy translating the old "Father Tilly" - just wondered if anybody has experience with other systems.
Okay - it didn't surprise me that Wheeling Turn answered - I think i could have asked for someone who knows a system for epic scale battles of spark plugs against licorice-smurfs in 1/12. Think he would have answered "'Sparky Ho' is a fine system for beginning, but I'd prefer 'Licorice forward' if you don't mind reading mandarin" - or something like that
