A real boy? Yes you are Bluefalchion  i most certainly agree with you Gunnar. There is quite a story concerning those two that i wrote because it reminded me of a famous photograph of a Waterloo Veteran.

BB--

It seems that when you look at the mundane objects in your home, you see the starting point for a hobby project. That happens to me sometimes, too. For me, it goes no further than that. For you? Wonders and marvels out of take-away curry tins and spent cling-film tubes.

Keep sharing your creations with us. And, especially, keep creating.

BUZZ & PILLAR,
Are great pals, and seem quite content playing here in our Honey Well Garden.
It is a bright enough place most fitting for any dream of imagination to take shape.
To think these two were thrown away from speeding cars upon the Saint Faiths Road ,
last year. The intention is to raise a smile at this time.

Hollow Cast Sailors, complete with metal swinging right arm still intact,in all probability much older than myself. 70 + Years. The melted lead was poured into a metal mold, then tipped out instantly leaving a very thin style cheap figure for the market place. Each casting was then fixed onto a steel base by using a brazing iron under the metal plate. Using a thin strip of lead applied by hand,it melted easily skirting around each fixing point when the platform was heated up in this way. Next it went to the paint bench where women usually applied each color needed very slap dash! When the paint was dry each went sailing into their boxes and were ready for sale.

Stay safe,Stay well. :coffee: BB

Vintage MATTEL M.U.S.C.L.E MEN, from the USA of 1984.

Now he is farm fresh as the Pickers on TV would describe him,and rightly so because if one collects toy town history objects from the childhood past of countless others, for the most part grubby is what one gets.So i count myself fortunate that i can once more play-out my game upon the surfing waves of E Bay, once more. i target sellers collections of figures until they offer a discount deal, which i then counter with my own in way of barter. i aim for 30% discount but usually settle for 25%,but i insist on Free Postage,or a Combined Postage which makes everyone on the unseen stage of selling for a profit happy to get a large lump of cash instead of a slow stream of Pennies from their puddles of re-posted items on their E Bay Shops.
 Better the quick Pound, than the slow Shilling! :eh: Eh? :sst: five pence in today's money.

Image

Anyway i just want to say within these written words there are other playful figures to come and will most certainly be placed here. That one presented above is one of my favorites. i live in hope of painting him one fine fresh day.

By the way my Dearest Mrs B
,,,is busy painting stones for placing outside in the wilds of Fiddle Wood. Old Catton will never be the same again. There are many now enjoying this fun filled time of activity during Lock Down. They, The Stones leave the house never to be seen again by us. It is aimed to keep people and children more happier upon their daily walks. And those selling stones and others selling paint and varnish are booming in trade as this artful endeavour spreads out across Norwich.
2 B able 2 C the children's smile upon their hunt would be magic.

:coffee: From the little white cottage
surrounded by evergreen gardens,
Greetings and i'll see you later. BB

The New Collection is gradually taken shape and i am well pleased. So There are many, many
more to post here ,and comparing the prices elsewhere on Line,i saved a huge 55% by pinning the game of ,'Watch Item and Wait',on only two E Bay Sellers.i am now awaiting delivery
of lots more figures along with a bag of beach stones for my Mrs B. :coffee: C.U. L BB

The very first figures arrived today a Monday, and they lay under the invoice awaiting a good soapy wash. All the figures are brand new from sealed boxes from 1980's. i paid £2.00 a figure and a low combined postage.i have to count them when they all arrive then do all the Feedback on my Account.

Everything is unpacked outside in the back garden near the little gate and wall we built with our own hands many years ago. The throw away cardboard stuff is sorted and thrown straight into the waiting blue garden bin. Being very careful to wash our hands after touching that which comes in,even our shopping. Mrs B,and i are in self isolation since March, because we are high risk folks of tender age. It is not easy, but one does what must be and it is simple as that. Stay Safe,Stay Well. BB

Never fall for the emotive sales pitch like the one above. Shop around to feel out the market place, then decide and perhaps buy. i bought 80 at £2-00 and cruised until i got the bargain basement price.
It is a new collection of Castle and Kings.BB
