DEUS LE VULT

In 2009 I made this little diorama with figures from STRELETS.
Unfortunately, these images are no longer displayed.
That's why I took a few new pictures.
I hope the members who have already seen it are not bored and new members enjoy the pictures.

A small group of crusaders are ambushed.

The Saracen cavalry arrives.
Now there is hardly any hope left for the Christian knights.

These are the sets of STRELETS that I used.

Great exciting story with just a bunch of brilliantly painted figures
I like specially the irregular look of the crusaders, as they should be (we are too used because of TV and cinema to very uniform and clean ranks of templar or Hospitaler knights, reality had to be more similar to your fighting group)
The different banners from both muslim and Christian are also great and add lots of charachter and beauty to the creation/story

Nope! Was not bored.

Anyway I may have missed these back in 2009.

Or perhaps I forgot.

Hi Konrad,
your diorama from 2009 - how time flies - is well in my memory. It impressed me greatly - because of the colours and the flags - and still does today. meanwhile I have painted up most of my Crusade minis - essentially the same as you. You remind me that I should add many more flags and banners.
Thanks for putting them on again, Konrad
Greetings
Michael

Epic diorama. The only suggestion is to photograph with a minimum aperture and low shutter speed.
