The US Cavalry are disappointing. Excellently sculpted, but poorly researched. Revolvers were carried in holsters, not thrust in belts. Sabre scabbards would hang vertically alongside the leg, unless carried at the angle shown, but strapped to the saddle and under the leg. Buglers and flag bearers would not carry carbines. The rolled greatcoat on the saddle pommel is also not present. The Inniskilling loading is much too dramatic - you cannot load a musket dancing around like that. It's a pity, as the sculpting and general presentation of the figures are impressive.

Hi Mike and thank you for your feedback. We love reactions so we can improve, because sometimes we make mistakes or happen to overlook certain details.
I can only talk for the Inniskilling figure as the cavalry are a Bullet Proof production. But its sounds like we really nailed what we was going for when made the pose. It shows a person that is under heavy stress trying to load his gun when taking fire from both artillery and guns. The enemy has just start to charge and your gun is malfunctioning and in just a few second will the enemy run over you if you don’t get away this shot so you would as a reflex start to move backwards.

For me it would be interesting to know what is Bullet Proof? A new company? Or a new range of you?
And it would be nice to have pictures here like before. This was really great. So thanks to Thomas for the informations of new releases.

Yes, good idea we should introduce Bullet Proof Miniatures. It is a company that we have collaboration with (we're friends). We print the minis for him so figured we could have them on the website too for more to see them. There should be previous posts here somewhere from DogSoldier (Bullet Proof Miniatures) that he has made during the years, but I also think he uses the face book.

We certainly should use this page more for updates and pictures! Here is a work in progress for a thorakitai we are developing (base pose at the moment).

I'm glad to see more ancients are being produced; your Indian figures are fantastic, the resin casts were excellent. Looking forward to purchasing again

Hello Speira team,
Any chance of Revolutionary French infantry in Tarleton helmets or at least some heads for conversions?
Kind regards.

Speira, thanks for your feedback! It is nice to know comments are being read and understood. I certainly hope you will expand your Napoleonic range. I use quite a lot of dead & wounded figures in gaming as "Casualty Markers", and also panicking/running figures as "Disruption Markers", and I am always on the lookout for new variants. Also looking for Cavalry figures skirmishing dismounted. Keep up the good work!

Is it true that you are unable to ship from the EU to the US at present? Would this affect orders from Spiera? Thanks, Bessiere

Hi
Im not sure where you have heard that? but no its has never been any stop between EU and US in the mail service. (if nothing have happened sense last Sunday and I missed it)

We had some package in May that due to the covid has been really delayed and stucked at the Chicago airport for longtime but most of them has found its way to the customer.

There is some still delays in the post service but the average shipping time now are 2-3 weeks after we left the package to the post office from Sweden to US.

No French infantry in Tarleton helmets are in the pipe at the moment, but we will add it to the idea queue and we will see if and when they can be made.
