Just a thought. If I, and others, who only want the civilians, buy the sets to get them but store/throw in the bin/give away/swop or whatever the troops part, would Strelets think the Sales of the sets are based on the subject of the troops or the civvies? Would they care?

Haha, can ask the same question but then with those civilians, ‘cause I really don’t need them. Everybody seems to be happy with it (good for them!), but except for the occasional cantinière (Franznap) or dead civilians in the streets of Berlin in’45 my dioramas will have no non-combatants.
Strelets doesn’t care of course, but it is a waste of all those good soldiers.
Or civilians.
When for example another set of marching Russians come out and when I buy about ten sets of them perhaps I’ll take my civilians to Figz Arnhem. For those who are interested.

I also think that they should put the civilians in their own box and maybe fill up the space with Streltsi! No, just kidding. About the new WSS-range it is hard for me NOT to start another era. But I will have to avoid it and try to finish what I do. Great figures and very tempted!

Know the problem and fully agree.
Likely it will be our historical mistake. But when I look up I see a wall of boxes and shelves full of books too.
It’s not always easy to put a luxery problem into the right perspective...

Once again the flag is incorrect, but the figs are nice. And I do not remember if someone pointed out the fact that we have Prussian units that are waiting or moving slowly for the first time in plastic. In my oppinion this is a really good addition.

The flag with arm can be cut off quite easy and replaced for an arm with sabre.
(but of course that’s not the right starting point: you don’t buy sets of soldiers to correct the mistakes).
And to speak for myself: yes, in this particular case I can use the non active cavalry poses. You never know, but a full set of let’s say French cuirassiers would be welcome by me (and was requested quite often in the past on the forums).

But in the long run I really hope Strelets will make more active Napoleonic sets. Of which the advancing are probably the most needed. I.e with horizontal positioned musket with bayonet.

Rather ironic that,, with stationary horses for once giving a more stable seat for shooting, there is no sign of the normally inevitable figure shooting his own wingman in the back...

I am sorry, but as far as I can see only the officer has a jacket (Pelz/fur).

I think the uniforms are right Mr Schmitt. But as far as I can see these are "Dead Hussars", again. Look at the hats.

And the Totenkopfhusaren were not present at Waterloo.
The uniform is correct quite some other regiments, as long as you don’t paint the skulls and perhaps better: scratch them from the shakos.
