Figures shops in Madrid, Spain

Posted by Mr. Andrea on 02 Dec 2019, 16:41

Hi all, I am in Madrid for a conference. Any figures shop to suggest, where I can spend the few free time (and money) I have? Thanks. Looking forward to some hints

Saving the world should be your priority, rather than collecting plastic in Madrid, even if this has also an environmental aspect - no pun intended ;-)

I remember Atlántica Juegos from my visit to Madrid quite a few years back, it wasn't far from the main shopping area.

It's been a while, but I had great success at Bazar Matey, Hobbies Vicente, and Model Reyna.

ours is long lasting plastic, not going into landfill or oceans or rivers! it will be passed from one generation to the other. we are environmentally friendly

This is what I posted about Helsinki last Winter 'I did manage to visit two in Helsinki. 'Hobby Point' had a huge range of scenics, kits, trains etc, and a small selection of plastic figures (mainly Airfix/Heller/Italeri). 'Tieto-Nikkari Oy' is a small old fashioned model shop, but crammed full of kits and accessories. They had a modest selection of plastic figures, mainly Italeri, but with a couple of Airfix, Zvezda and Revell kits amongst them. Finland is an expensive country, but 'Tieto-Nikkari Oy' was very reasonable-I bought Italeri Nap British Inf for 7.90 Euros. Hobby Point was expensive on the other hand-I bought Italeri Nap Rifles for 11.90 Euros.'

Thank you for these suggestions, I'm always looking for mostly Zvezda though so perhaps not worth visiting these shops. yes Finland is as expensive as Sweden, you never get used to it..
The major hobby store here in Stockholm is closed which is sad..

I am back and manged to go to Hobby Vicente and Bazar Matey. It's been nice as they are the two opposite sides of the hobby coin. One is dusty and warm, the other is neat and cold. Guess what I liked more.
Thanks to all again for the recommendations.
