If only Strelets actual figures look more like their Masters. Production of the figs continues to disappoint me... :(

As I said some times before: I really need this set plus the upcoming Russians standing order arms. And quite a lot boxes of both. They best I can say, judging the pictures of the sprues: they are passable. Just about. But not a top quality product so it seems.
So I’ll buy them.
They will be placed in mass formation and hopefully okay that way (i.e.: the possible flaws might fall out of sight).
But the centerpiece of my Borodino dio will be the many different artillery crews and battery (+ converted figures), the cavalry and all the other plastic and metal sets I already got (et la Grande Armée naturellement!).
Absolutely not enormously disappointed, but feel a bit so so...

British infantry in advance, 1701-14, sprues and figures.
Seems to be a very good quality! :thumbup:

Hard to compare the actual end result with the masters as they are made using that grotty red plastic but They look mainly ok although the command figures are missing a bit of Detail compared to the masters.
Point of the pikestaff missing and it´s in two pieces
The swords of the Standard bearers and bugler aren´t complete.

I´ll be getting them anyway, see how they paint up :-)

More Prussian Landwehr cavalry.
Actually this time it suits me fine that they are not in active poses, so far.

From PSR;
Strelets have announced another new set in the pipeline, and this time it returns to their medieval range. The new set is 'Medieval City Levy', so a general set covering many potential nationalities.

From Strelets site, boxart

Have to say the PSR review of the first War of Spanish Succession Brit infantry set is true - the final production figures really do reflect the high quality of the masters. The only other time I've seen that is with their 2017 Imperial Roman Auxiliaries sets. I don't have any personal interest in either periods but it is certainly a good sign for the future if they keep it up.

Oh well, it can´t all be new stuff. Still, both sets were hard to get hold of so a plus in that direction.
