Very colourful cavalry display and well fit for Gunnar to set his eyes upon.

Do those plants happen to eat the odd fly FredG ? BB

Yes BB, they eat the normal ones too :yeah: :-D

Those are Sarracenia. Not quite in carnivorous mode this early in the season though.

These are now in full bloom

Just for you I've ordered some blue flock so I can then have blue and yellow flowers together ;-)

I'm very much looking forward to seeing this project progress further. I have this set somewhere but for some reason not got around to them (or indeed any of the other mountain of unpainted figures...)

Keep going, pal!

I have to report that unfortunately the blue flock I'd ordered turned out to be totally useless for the purpose intended. It's translucent so if anyone is doing a diorama that includes a fairy grotto it would be perfect. It looks like blue ice or perhaps a mineral crystal.
The one flower clump I made to test it has been placed on Zombie's base by Mrs G. He and the zombie lambs don't seem to mind it.
The hunt for a decent fine blue flock continues. It appears to be a very rare commodity. :stressed:

I have just completed the 8th's base and it's not going to please Gunnar as much as I'd planned.

Wow Fred! I have to admit taking a pass on these figures since the PSR pics aren't terribly flattering but you have made these look superb! Lovely painting and the basing is as good as I've ever seen. I can't find much info but I had considered using these figures for Austrian grenz hussars. Anyone know if they would work for that?
