DBA battle (quick) report: Rome vs Spartacus

Posted by Mr. Andrea on 09 Mar 2019, 19:01

Quick report in 5 pictures. Rome (Jan) nipped Spartacus' uprising (Andrea) in the bud. Spartacus just managed to cross the river; then it was carnage. Rome defeated Spartacus 4-0.

No pasaran! Push them back into the water.

Gladiators died hard.

Spartacus couldn't manage to get out of the water. Eventually he surrendered to the Roman general, without striking a blow.

The casualties: only rebels. No Roman blood was spilled.

Was a great game. And all for variety, I am lucky with the dice. Gaming with a river was really an new experience for me as a newbee. Looking forward to the next evening in the gentlemens room!

:coffee: I often wonder,` could I ever be so neat and tidy like you and the other guys here.'
:sst: no chance bb. I agree. :cowboy: Me a'nall!__ :coffee: I guess you`re right?
:sst: however looking upon the bright side no one could be as untidy as you bb. :coffee: Gee thanks little button I see it as being quite gifted now.

:coffee: The battle plan done on the cheap. The logic is If you can`t afford a bridge, just try and use a ford and a little splish splash of imagination? It costs nothing extra to produce and with a tongue in cheek smile it certainly works.

Strange? Was it the Prussian Legion of Rome? Or did you guys change side? Jan is Italian now and Andrea a German? I can't follow! :eh:

Great battle with fantastic painted figures!
