I share the comments of the former replies. You achieved really the best imaginable with Mars figures. Incredible good painted with wonderful colours. Will these figures integrated later also in a diorama?

I understood correctly: do you want step by step photos of the process of preparing and painting the following figures?

Yes, this is for a diorama. But for now, I paint all the sets of Mars, one by one. I have not yet thought through all the details of the diorama, but I’ll say for sure that I will make separate battle episodes as separate modules.

Or a written tutorial would also be helpful. Are you creating new hands or modifying the hands original to the figure?

There is no manual. I modify the hands with a special two-component putty "Tamiya".

Do you create a hole in the hand for the new weapon to fit through? The effect you have created is very convincing indeed. Maybe a picture of the figure's hand immediately after you remove the original weapon would help me to understand. I am a little bit slow to grasp new concepts at times.

The following figures that I am preparing are light Lithuanian cavalry. For these figures, I will not change anything, leave everything as it is.
And when there are suitable figures that need weapons, I’ll take a photo.

Sometimes I make a hole in the figure's hand.
The figures from the last photo did not have weapons. I glued the weapon to the figure's hand with a super-glue, and then with a putty imitated the figure's hand.

Sometimes I really enjoy simple, clean painting without much highlights and washes. This is one of such cases.

I think there is only one person in the world that can paint Mars figures so they don't only look decent, but really good! And that is you!

Great project... I saw a clip on YouTube about the battle from old movie...I think old movies with battles were better made than this new with CGI because they used real people to make scene...Anyway how big diorama will be?I can-t wait to see final result when all those figures are putted on а base...
